How UrFLRealtor Works

Our vetting process exists to solve one problem: anyone can get a real estate license, but not everyone should represent you in a Florida transaction.

The Vetting Process

1

Application Review

Every applicant submits their Florida license number, brokerage, primary market, and recent transaction data. We cross-reference the license with DBPR (the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation) to verify active status and check for disciplinary actions.

2

Transaction Verification

We verify local transaction history for the 24 months prior to application. We look at the city and zip code level — not just county. An agent who closed 40 deals in Broward but none in Boca Raton does not qualify as a Boca Raton specialist.

3

Review Score Analysis

We review ratings on Zillow, Realtor.com, and Google. We look at recency (reviews from the last 12 months matter more), response rate, and patterns in negative reviews. Minimum threshold is 4.5 stars with at least 10 reviews.

4

Specialization Matching

Based on transaction types and client feedback, we tag agents with their verified specializations. A first-time buyer specialist is not automatically qualified to represent an investment property buyer — and we don't stretch the tags.

5

Ongoing Monitoring

Listings are not permanent. We re-verify active agents quarterly. A complaint from a consumer, a license issue, or a drop below our review threshold triggers an immediate re-review.

How Consumers Use the Directory

Browse by City

Go to your target city — Tampa, Miami, Sarasota, or any of our 16 markets — and see verified agents sorted by specialty.

Filter by Specialization

Buying a waterfront condo is different from selling an investment property. Filter to agents who have actually done what you need done.

Contact Directly

No middlemen. No leads platforms. You get the agent's profile and contact them directly. We do not collect a referral fee.

It's Free

No registration, no account, no payment. The directory is free to use for every buyer and seller.

Privacy & Data Policy

When consumers use our directory, we do not collect any personal information. Browsing the directory is anonymous. If you contact an agent through our site, that communication goes directly to the agent — we do not receive it.

When agents apply to join our network, we collect the information submitted in the application form (name, email, license number, brokerage, transaction data). This information is used solely to verify qualifications and create the agent profile. We do not sell or share agent data with third parties.

We use Matomo Analytics, a self-hosted analytics platform, to track page visits. No data is sent to third-party tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
